Qaixen Limited is delighted to have been awarded with its Government recognised Cyber Essentials certification.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats. This cyber security framework is supported by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and sets out five basic security controls that can protect organisations against 80% of common cyber attacks, such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and network attacks.

In order to achieve this vital certification, organisations must demonstrate they can meet specific requirements related to each of the scheme’s five controls. These five key areas cover:
1. Firewalls and routers
2. Secure configuration
3. Malware protection
4. User access control
5. Patch management
Explains Randy Perkins-Smart, Director at Qaixen: “Achieving our Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates our commitment to data protection and cyber security. It reassures our customers that we take cyber security very seriously and have the correct security measures in place to reduce the impact of any kind of cyber threat.”
As a Cyber Essentials certified business, Qaixen is now also listed on the NCSC website.
